Michael Sullivan started making drums in the fall of 1991. A drummer since the age of eight, drum making quickly became a passion. Today, Michael loves to pass along the skills of making drums to other people. As a class or one-on-one you will learn what it means to be on hide time and the slippery skills of drum making. Ages eight to adult.

The cost of drum making workshop is the price of the drum you choose to make. For prices, click on the drum you want to make. Michael facilitates the making of all of his drums on that page. The private or group workshops usually take place in northern lower Michigan. Michael will travel to other locations in Michigan for groups of four or more.
