8/12/06: Drum making workshop at Thorne Swift nature preserve led by drummer/drum maker Michael Sullivan.  See the "Lodge drum" on this website for a picture of the drum you will make and take home with you!  Please call Michael with questions about workshop at 231-348-9683.

8/13/06: Play your new drum!!  Drum and Dance on the beach at Thorne Swift Nature preserve!!  Drumming begins at 7pm, until sunset, followed by storytelling at the campfire and s'mores!!  no cover charge, but a $3 per car fee for parking.  Please call John Riggs for directions or questions at 231-242-0077.  See ya there!

5/14/06: The Mother's day, Full moon drum circle marked the last of this years Vivace Arts Center drum and dance parties for the year.  Thanks go out to Vivace Arts for providing the space for many wonderful, uplifting gatherings.  And, thanks to all of you who came out and made it a great time each month.  We will begin again at Vivace in Sept., check back for dates and times.

7/3/05: Michael held his First Annual Drumming and Potluck "House Warming" that reunited many of the Visions of Peace members as well as good friends.
